2026 Family Medicine Advocacy Summit

The Family Medicine Advocacy Summit in DC was amazing. I had a wonderful time advocating with other family doctors from across the country, especially with my Michigan family medicine family.

Improving patient care, health outcomes, and health access is an every day job. But a wonderful opportunity to help my patients and my community.

I enjoy being the advocacy chair of the Michigan Academy of Family Physicians and being able to lift my voice for Michiganders. Advocacy is a long game and commitment but worth it when you see policy change that impacts people’s lives. AAFP MAFP #fmas #fmrevolution
